This is by far, along with its red-stained partner, also done by Don Warren, the best briar skull I have seen. It is only by coincidence that it is being posted so near to Halloween. What does the crown signify? Don't know...maybe Scottish King Duncan, so brutally murdered by MacBeth. He sort of rose from the grave to get his revenge on both MacBeth and Lady MacBeth, didn't he? Virgin stain, virgin bowl interior. Grp. 5.
