The pipe is in near-new condition, unless it is, in fact, unsmoked. From the aroma (more precisely, the lack of one) and the condition of the chamber and the mortise, it seems new to me. There is some tooth chatter on the vulcanite stem, but I bet I can polish that out. It does have the Jobey-link tenon system and that is, perhaps, the reason for the Pat. # on the bottom of the shank. It is a Grp. 6 size and the draw is open.
