From the old Washington, D.C. shop we get this well loved pipe. I can say ‘well loved’ because it was obviously smoked a lot, as any sharp relief on the sandblasted bowl was worn to a soft texture by gentle handling, yet the bowl, the chamber and the stem are all in excellent condition. The bowl size is a little larger than many churchwardens and is equal to a Grp. 4 size. The draw is wide-open. The nomenclature is slightly buffed down, but is quite clear.
