I never could get all the letters and the grades to which they corresponded correct. But I think the R is a step down from the P grade. Then there’s an S grade, wherever that might fit in. But this pipe is in very good condition. A little carbon residue on the plateau rim, but that is to be expected in a used pipe. The stem, vulcanite, has a bare hint of chatter on it. I can probably polish most, if not all, of that chatter away. It’s a Grp. 5 size…tall, but thin; somewhat like a Stack. A cleaner bops right on through to the chamber bottom. Used.
