This gem series pipe must be a bit larger than many because it is also stamped “Maxima,” although they’ve all seemed pretty bit to me. There is a bit of wear on the rim, as you can see in the photos, but it isn’t much, at all, and the stem is mark-free. The draw is open and the chamber is in excellent condition. The silver can use polishing, but you can do that and thus feel some sense of accomplishment in making the pipe look even better than it does on this site. I’ll say this, as a seller, you can not have too many S.J. gem series pipes.
