A testament to the quality of the construction of S. Bang pipes is the wide-open draw. Of course, their work is well known and one has to look for things to say because most of the praise, as regards a Bang, is redundant. Of course it has an open draw. Of course the blast is good, etc., etc. Well, condition is variable, and here it is excellent, with no marks on the stem and no wear or char on the rim. What does need to be stated is that the pipe can take a 9mm filter, indicating it was made for the German market. It’s a Grp. 6 size, or a large 5, depending on who’s judging. Used.
