Grp. 5 size bowl in very good condition with no wear on the rim or marks on the vulcanite stem. The amount of flame grain all around the bowl earns the “DeLuxe” grade for this pipe. The draw is OK, I guess, or re-framed, just what one has to expect from a P-lip pipe. The “P” logo on the top of the stem is visible, but the white has been polished out of it. I can’t tell the age, but the way the “DeLuxe” looks tells me that this is a fairly old pipe. That and the uncommon grain quality. Used.
P.S. An astute and Eagle-eyed correspondent spotted that the stems of the Mark Twain pipe and the Peterson’s Deluxe were switched in their respective photos. Thanks to his willingness to point out the error, each pipe will now have its proper stem when sent out. Thank you Juan.
