This says Grp. 4 on it…well, maybe, because it’s sort of like a Dunhill LB, but it’s certainly Grp. 6 size and Dunhill would probably claim it as an ODA.
It does have shape 816 stamped on it, if that helps you. (I can never remember shape numbers. People frequently talk to me as though I know what they’re referring to when they say something like, “yeah, Marty, it was
a 246, with that little squiggle, know what I mean?” and I’d nod, like I knew.
I’m a pipe vendor…understand that. When I sell a pipe and grab the geeters, I instantly lose all recollection of it. (I do of course, remember the pipes in my cabinet and when one strays, yes, like you, I panic.) This Parker is in excellent, even near-new condition. I can’t guess the age, but looking at the stem and blast, probably the 70’s. Used.
