The Rox Cut is Ian Walker’s top rusticated grade and this one shows why…although Ian doesn’t have a sandblaster on his houseboat, he can rusticate his pipes and this one makes it hard to discern between a blast and a carved piece. It is that good. Also, the condition of the pipe is excellent, with a clean, crisp chamber rim and a mark-free vulcanite stem., It’s a Grp. 5 size and the draw is wide-open. There is a 3 in a circle and that might indicate size, and I think he intended to stamp the year of production on the shank, but the original band obscures the last two digits of the year, unless the “20,” simply means the pipe was made in 2000, or 2020. Used.
