Mastro de Paja #21724-6862 *SOLD 3/22/24DJ*

$75.00

This is an early Mastro, as can be seen by the fact that the nomenclature, which is crisp and clear, states that the pipe was made for W. Lubinski. That would be Mario’s father, who is the current owner of that tobacco, cigar and pipe distributorship in Fermo, Italy that David Field and I visit each chance we get, Mario having become a very good, loyal friend of ours. The size of this bowl is large, Grp. 7 size, and the condition, despite its age, is very good, with a sharp inner chamber rim and a mark-free acrylic stem. The draw is open. It has a “curtain” blast, layer folding over layer. Also in the nomenclature is what looks like the Italian equivalent of a Patent number. It starts off “brev.” and that is followed by a bunch of numbers and a letter. Used.
5.8” long, bowl 2.25” tall. Weight:2 oz., 58 grams.
