This dunhill is a little different. The size and shape alone (Grp. 2, or maybe even a 1) qualifies it for that, but it’s the nomenclature that captures my interest. The only things I can find are the “dunhill” stamped just like that, in lower case letters, and then a “Made in England,” both in very small type and stamped on that flat bottomed foot. There is no date number after the ‘D’ in England and no reference to model type (sure looks like a Bruyere) or size and certainly not for shape number. If you are trying to collect all the shapes that Dunhill has produced (probably a near impossible task…but what the hell, it’s not worth anything if it isn’t a challenge) I bet you don’t have this one. The condition is excellent and the draw is wide-open. Used.
