This is one of those pipes for which it is a pain in the ass to figure out a price. (Of course, all my prices are the result of wild guesses and whim, so what makes this any different?). The problem here is a patched hole in the bottom of the stem. It was done, apparently, but a skilled pipe repair person, but you can still see the difference between the black of the patch-job and the color of the black acrylic of the stem. The patch is solid, it doesn’t look as though it will give way. It’s flat and won’t impact the comfort of the stem in the mouth, but it is a flaw that reduces the value of the pipe. But by how much? 15%? 20%? I don’t know. Well, I’ll try to price it so the pipe will sell…my ultimate goal, of course, with every pipe. Everything else is just fine, with a crisp, clean rim and no other indents on the stem. Grp. 5 size, maybe 6. Made during Kino’s reign.
