This is a family era Barling, with a 2 digit shape number (48) and very little other nomenclature…no size stamping for example. It does have a T.V.F. and the nomenclature is good, but a little buffed down. The stem is original and although the white part of the stem logo is buffed off, you can see (a lens helps) the original crossed “Barling” logo on the stem. There are no bite marks on the stem and the bowl is in very good condition, with a rim that has just a touch of wear. Under a lens you can see very light scratches on the shank. It’s a Grp. 5 size.
