The “LF” stamping refers to “long flat,” which signifies a Canadian. There is also an LLF. When I get one, I’ll let you know. Although the nomenclature is a little buffed down and is no longer crisp, every letter is legible. Nothing has been buffed out. The “Barling’s Make,” is in block letters and is arched, putting this squarely into the family era of Barling pipe making.
