This is the first time within memory that I’ve seen an Amorelli without a grade designation. Am I missing something? Maybe, but I’ve looked pretty hard. There is a fair amount of flame grain, and no weak areas, so it wasn’t out of embarrassment that Toto didn’t grade this pipe. In any rate, it is of the old school Amorellis, with that gold bar, half on the shank, half on the stem extension, that allows you to line up the stem and shank when the gold bar is nicely aligned. The condition is very, very good, with a little visible carbon on the inner rim, but still a crisp rim, and best of all, despite the big S bend, it easily passes the cleaner test. And yes, the draw is open. Grp. 6 size. Used.
