Simply a fine handful of a Grp. 5 1/4 bent Castello in excellent condition with no wear or carbon on the rim, no marks on the stem, a wide-open draw and with just a small twist of the cleaner an A grade on the cleaner test. 1987, as many of you know, is the first year that Castello put dates on their pipes, in order to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the brand’s inception by Carlo Scotti.
