This early version of Bill Taylor’s work exhibits the kind of character blast you hope to see in an Ashton. Later blasts are good, but this is manifestly more interesting. The condition is very good, too with just some carbon residue coating the inner rim of the chamber. It’s a Grp. 6 size with an open draw. The brindle stem one little touch of tooth chatter that can probably be polished out.
