There are two negatives associated with this pipe and neither has an impact on how this Dunhill will smoke. The rim shows a little charring at one point. Then, the nomenclature is buffed way down, so you have to look hard to see the “Dunhill” and only part of the “Root Briar” is visible. You also have to look hard to see the year. Although I don’t think it’s necessarily a negative, depending, know also that the stem is a good replacement with a white dot. The all-important chamber is in excellent condition and the draw is wide-open. It’s a Grp. 5, shape # 563.
