This is a Grp. 6 Root, which puts it in pretty distinguished territory. The condition is near-excellent (I just made up that category) with just a touch of visible wear on the inner rim of the chamber. It’s usper minor and not the result of flame. You can check it out in the photo. Otherwise, it’s near-pristine, with an open draw, clean, clear nomenclature, a good cross-grain, Bird’s Eye pattern and best of all (not really…but maybe it sounds good) a chamber into which I can fit my thumb. (Seems my left thumb is slightly larger than my right thumb. Used.
