To get a pipe as large as this, in a grade as an H is, I think, remarkable. I’ve got a 2011 Tsuge price list in front of me, and an H, 12 up from their bottom grade for the Ikebana (they double up on some letters, like an AB after the A, and a BC after the B) was intended to sell for $1420 back then. And, if you were in the hobby at the time, you’ll remember that Tsuge was a very hot number. This one has an open draw, a vulcanite stem and a chamber into which my thumb quite easily, despite thick walls (nearly 1/2” thick at the thinnest point). The pipe is unsmoked, so no need to discuss condition. New.
