The pipe is in excellent condition and is also old, for a Ser Jacopo, with the dot stem logo. Sometimes that dot is red; this one looks more like ivory or alabaster. Although the “Maxima” suggests an extra large pipe, which this is (Grp. 7) the walls of the chamber are so thick that the chamber is not all that big. Despite the bend, the construction is so good that the pipe passes the cleaner test.
