Paolo nailed the cross grain on this, managing to align it to the front and back of the bowl and across the shank and bottom of the pipe, with the corresponding Bird’s Eye on the two sides of the bowl. Although the pipe is short, the bowl is a Grp. 5 size, or even a little larger. It is unsmoked, so the condition is new. The draw is wide-open.
