Giovanni # 225-10557

$110.00

I now know of three Giovanni’s that make pipes. Considering the commonality of the name in Italy, I don’t doubt that there are more. Maybe my investigating friend in Gibraltar can figure this one out. This pipe is pretty nice, especially if you like Stubbies. Certainly the grain is very good, the draw is open and the condition is excellent, or even near-new. Using the Dunhill Group metric, the size is a little hard to determine, but calling it a Grp. 4 is safe enough. I’ve no idea what to charge. If my price is far too low, as I expect it might be, you’ll be getting a deal. If it’s too high, well, you should feel better about being screwed by your pipe dealer than by your stock broker.
4.15” long, bowl 1.7” tall. Weight: 1 5/8 oz., 48 grams.
