Beautiful straight grain all around on the always ultra comfortable Apple shape, with the addition of a handsomely sculpted shank and a silver-spigot-like tenon/shank treatment. In fact, it’s a standard acrylic tenon that fits into the shank, but that doesn’t diminish the attractiveness of the pipe. It’s a Grp. 5 size. The draw is wide-open and what might make this pipe special (besides that grain pattern, of course) is the way the stem material was handled…it is thin and feels more like vulcanite than a thick acrylic that most Italian pipes sport. New.
