Here’s a chance to get an old piece of fine Castello briar, with he U.S. diamond logo in the stem, a Carlo Scotti stamping as the Padrone, and even a shape number, 15, on the shank bottom. The stem is mark-free and the inner rim has carbon residue and maybe a hint of wear at one point, but maybe not. I think it’s just the way the rustication was formed. The draw is open, and the size is on the large side of Grp. 6. All the nomenclature is good and clear.
