This pipe gives the lie to the belief (at least it was a belief of mine) that carved Castellos are called Sea Rocks and it is the sandblasted finish that are termed Old Antiquari. This pipe is clearly carved, but the nomenclature declares it is an O.A. It is shape # 15 as indicated by the stamping. It's also old enough so that the single "K" is not in an oval. It's a Grp. 5 in size and the rim and chamber are in excellent condition. The stem does have a tooth indent on both the top and bottom, neither deep but certainly visible.
