This pipe was made prior to Paolo establishing a grading system. In fact, it was made pre-everything. The only stamping on the shank bottom is "Becker" and "Hand Made in Italy." So, is it a pipe made by Fritz Becker, Paolo Becker or a collaboration? What we do know about the pipe, (besides its condition, which is excellent) is the terrific, deep blast and the hard briar the blast exhibits. The draw is wide-open and it's a Grp. 6 size.
