This could be a special piece of wood. It certainly feels light, and although it doesn’t seem that large, the chamber easily takes my thumb while the walls are quite thick. It’s almost as if the pipe is a trompe l’oeil. As for the quality of the grain, you can see that in the photos. The pipe is unsmoked, so the condition is pristine.
