Obviously, this pipe has the date of production stamped on it, in this case on the side of the shank. It’s large, at least a Grp. 6, and while the grain isn’t great, it is lightly stained and reveals clean wood. Unlike so many pipes, Mastro has used the same stem logo throughout its tenure, which is now at least 45 years. The condition is very good, with a clean rim, and only the lightest of tooth chatter on the acrylic stem, which I can quite possibly buff out before mailing the pipe to the recipient. Used.
