Rainer Barbi #8124-8855 *SOLD 8/10/24*

$425.00

Because Barbi was German, here’s the full disclosure…the tenon does not take a 9mm filter. There, now you can relax and enjoy looking at the pipe and imagine that your wife is out of the house and not lurking around the computer as you scroll through pipe porn. It’s a Grp. 7 in size. The condition is excellent. The little tooth chatter on the stem will likely polish out, it is that slight. The grain quality you can see in the photos. Barbi does have, or had, a grading system, but it was byzantine and directed more by his need for money than the quality of the briar. This one, thankfully, does not appear to be graded so you’ll have to use your eyes. A “TCA” is stamped on the bottom of the shank, but who the hell knows what that means.
6” long, bowl 2.5” tall. Weight: 2.25 oz., 64 grams.
