The side of the bowl that may appear flat is not that flat...it is gently curved and rounded. Peter incorporated some of the plateau into the design, on the bottom of the bowl & the stem is a wonderfully flat and comfortable vulcanite. The draw is wide-open & with a twist of a cleaner, it goes through to the chamber. Grp. 5 in size. New.
