Joura Infinity B #42427-8207JJ

$2,250.00

You had to see, as I did, the sculpting and pipe engineering skill of Karl Heinz Joura to believe it. Almost all pipe makers, including the very best, draw out on the briar the basic pattern and where they are going to drill their chamber and air hole. Not Joura; his muscle memory is so great that he can simply fit the bit size he wants into the drill and quickly bore each hole by hand and eye. Then, when the briar is right, he gets a magnificent piece like this one, with straight grain all around a large, Grp. 7 (or even larger) size bowl. With just a little twist, the cleaner goes through every time and the draw is wide-open. Thick walled, but still with a large enough chamber diameter to take in my thumb. The pipe is new.
5.4” long, bowl 2.3” tall. Weight: 3.25 oz., 91 grams.
