If you’re berating yourself for missing the two Sasieni Two Dots that I posted recently, you have another opportunity to get one of the same shape, albeit larger. This one is a Grp. 5 size, or even a 6.
More importantly, the condition of the pipe is excellent, with no stem bites, no wear on the rim and clear nomenclature all around. What I find interesting is that the two smaller Two Dot Apples were stamped with shape # 30, while this larger piece, clearly an Apple as well, is shape # 52. Sasieni aficionados out there, please clue me in. This one is a bit older, with blue rather than white dots and the “Made in England” stamp is in an oval rather than a straight line. Anyhow, I think that’s the older stamping.
