Somebody loved smoking this pipe a lot, and it shows, with broad dents in the original stem and a nomenclature that is seriously buffed down, requiring a lens to read the nomenclature. Look, when I finally run into the widow, or granddaughter, of the pipe shop owner in Manchester who shut up his shop to go off to war and never came back, leaving a store full of pre-WWII Sasienis, Barlings, Dunhills, GBDs, Ben Wades and Comoys, you’ll be the first to know.
