Peterson's System Premier #223-10524 *SOLD 3/1/25*
The pipe’s nomenclature also states that this was to be sold at Shannon airport. That’s not at all unusual, but I wonder why Peterson felt the need to make that announcement. It doesn’t change anything about the pipe, as far as I know (which, admittedly, isn’t very far, at all). “Premier” however, does say something about the pipe, and being thus designated, I think it is fill-free. Also, it’s small…Grp. 3 size. The condition is very good, with just a touch of wear on the inner rim of the chamber. The stem is bite mark free. The draw is good. The ferrule is sterling and hallmarked, rendering up a date of 1952. There is a dent in it, as happens so often with the older Petes.
4.7” long, bowl 1.75” tall. Weight: 1.5 oz., 42 grams.
