I’m guessing the “Professor” appellation refers to the shape being similar to the Professor in the Sherlock Holmes series. That would be confirmed by the profile of Holmes on the band. It’s large…at least a Grp. 6 and the distinguishing feature, at least in relation to the other Christmas pipes I’ve seen, is the rusticated carving, as opposed to the sandblasting the other Xmas pipes underwent. The condition is excellent. The draw is open.
