A great pipe shape and the bowl is in very crisp condition. The pipe was slightly mishandled somewhere along the line and a little chip is missing from the outer rim of the bowl, unless the pipe was made that way because there are no rough edges and no change in the stain color, which one would certainly expect to find if some wood were knocked off the pipe. Would quality control (if the GBD factory has such a thing) let a pipe be released like that? Maybe.
Of perhaps more concern is the absence of the GBD logo on the stem, so as nice as this vulcanite stem is, it must be a replacement. Grp. 4 size with an open draw.
