Although the brass GBD bezel is not on the stem, this is a good looking Grp. 5. The grain is rich with Bird’s Eye, which also means strong cross grain. The condition is very good, and isn’t ‘excellent’ only because of the stem logo and the buffed down nomenclature. As a solid smoke, this should rank up there with the best of the old English brands. The stem is vulcanite.
