A large Grp. 5 in size, with a plateau rim. The pipe is in very good condition, as is the stem, which, however, is a replacement, showing no teeth marks. The cross gain and Bird’s Eye is fine, but the nomenclature is severely buffed down. Makes one think that this pipe was a favorite and was handled, fondled and caressed a lot. The stem and chamber were not abused, further adding to the contention that the pipe was much loved.
