This pipe was clearly well loved; it was handled a lot and the nomenclature is all but obliterated. With some scrutiny you can see enough of the Dunhill to ascertain the brand name (helped by the white dot on the stem) the Root Briar grade and the LB. The year is not discernible. There is also some damage to the outside of the rim and very, very shallow tooth marks on the top and bottom of the stem. In short, this is something to smoke and it need not be coddled.
