Comoy's Tradition #62924-8331

$45.00

To answer the most asked question first, no, this is not a 3 part “C” on the stem. I don’t recognize this type of “C” from any era of Comoy’s. The pipe itself is in very good condition, with just a bit of carbon residue on the rim, but no wear is visible. Similarly, the stem shows no bite marks, so I suppose the question can rise about this being an original stem. My sense is that it is original, and unless there was an accident, there is nothing to suggest that the pipe was abused and might have had a tough time in somebody’s mouth. Significantly, the grain pattern, very well placed cross grain and Bird’s Eye, no fills, indicates a proper, old time Tradition. The draw is open, the size is Grp. 5.
6” long, bowl 1.8” tall. Weight: 1 1/8 oz., 32 grams.
