This is at least a Grp. 7 and probably considerably larger. It is also stamped “Extra Large” and “Made by Hand in City of London.” This marks it as an old era Charatan although there is no “L” thus indicating a pipe sold in Europe. The condition is very good, with a sharp, round rim and a Double Comfort stem with no teeth marks. The white on the “CP” stem logo is partially buffed off. At the juncture of the shank and bowl, on the bottom, is some Charatan-like sculptural carving. A little extra touch, as it were, by the hand carver.
