BBB #62924-8313 *SOLD 7/1/24*
You can see from the color of the stain and the rounded button of the stem (which is pristine, BTW, as is the bowl & chamber) that this is an old pipe. There is no logo on the stem, but maybe this stem never had a logo…it’s certainly not as though the previous owner was abusing the pipe and had bitten through the stem or broke it (although the latter is always a possibility due to accident on even a brand new pipe). It’s hard to tell that the pipe was ever smoked. What is also hard is finding the “BBB” insignia on the shank. It’s very, very dim. It’s there, but you have to know it’s there and still look hard. Again, this is surprising for a pipe in this condition. Was that the way the logo was initially stamped on the pipe? I can find no trace of country of origin or any other nomenclature. The stem material is vulcanite, of course, and the draw is open.
5.15” long, bowl 1.7” tall. Weight: 1 oz., 28 grams.
