1989 Ashton 3X Pebble Grain #9424-9430 *SOLD 9/24/24KC*

$235.00

Seems larger than a 3X to me. Maybe an LX. Anyhow, it was made during those early, golden years of Ashton yet somehow Bill Taylor managed to construct this, against all odds for a straight pipe, with a lousy draw, and not through the shank but through the stem. Shameful. On the other hand, that might well account for the slight usage and the mark-free stem and wear-free rim. I think I can work on that air hole and improve the draw. I'm going to price it as though I can do that. If I can't, obviously I'll have to make adjustments and the grandkids are going to have to go shoeless to school, which is quite an indignity as they are enrolled in the same district as all the moguls who work at Apple.
6" long, bowl 2.3" tall. Weight: 2 3/8 oz., 69 grams.
P.S. I managed to open the draw considerably with a rat tail file...it was initially ill-drilled, with a step inside that air-hole. It now has a quite acceptable draw.
