Poul has now been around the high-grade pipemaking scene in Denmark for about as long as anybody, starting out as a handsome young man and evolving into a leonine-looking gentleman. His skill, I think, has never been in doubt. I'll let the photos tell the story of this pipe's quality. What you can't see is that is a Grp. 6 in size, built for the hand to hold, with a wide-open draw. It's unsmoked, so no need to dwell on condition.
