Since Nording’s grading goes up to # 18 (or thereabout) this # 3 obviously does not have the greatest grain…but that does not address the potential quality of the smoke, does it? This certainly is a handsome pipe. It’s in excellent condition, and the size is between a Grp. 6 & Grp. 7. The draw is open and the stem material is vulcanite (or ebonite, if there’s a difference). And really, the grain is far from bad.
