The cobra part, the front of the bowl, and down the full length of the bottom of the shank, is all beautiful Bird’s Eye. The sides are cross grain and the front of the bowl brings us back to my favorite grain pattern, Bird’s Eye. The pipe is Grp. 5 size, but the bowl diameter is probably closer to a Grp. 4. Yet, the depth of the chamber justifies the Grp. 5 designation. The draw is wide-open, the stem is a vulcanite brindle. The fit and finish, the staining, etc., are all done by one of the best. New.
