This Champ has very sparse nomenclature. All it says is the brand name, plus a “7.” Usually, you can expect a “made in Denmark” or a Larsen & Stigart. No matter; the “7” seems to indicate a rather high grade, with a lot of tight straight grain around the bowl. While the shape of the pipe is typical of a Danish Freehand of the period (probably the 1970s) the size is a very manageable Grp. 5. The condition is excellent and the draw is wide-open.
